UDOT and Salt Lake City are working together to rebuild the bridge over the Jordan River to improve safety and repair structural issues. This is a separate project from the road reconstruction work, but will be done at the same time. A contractor is anticipated to be selected by the end of June. The construction start date is unknown at this time, but the road will be closed for up to 8 months once work begins.
